05 Feb Eight children rescued in January
We are delighted to announce that in January we successfully rescued eight children. Five boys were rescued from restaurants in Kathmandu where they were being forced to work from 5am to 9pm without pay. We worked with the local police to rescue them and take them to our safe house. Our partner, Shakti Samuha, also rescued three sisters who were working in a hostel and were being exploited by the owners. They are being cared for at Marigold House, our new safe house for girls. Thanks to all our supporters who enable us to carry out this dangerous but life-changing work.
